Due to the wet weather this competition is cancelled

NAPGC CHANGE

Hi all

Your Competition Secretary has been advised, last Thursday, that the above organisers have abandoned the qualifier at Strathmore. This is due, we have been advised, to the lack of clubs entering the competition from Scotland.

Therefore we have direct entry for two places for the finals at St Andrews on the 22nd September 2013.

As a result of this I will be submitting two names to be entered from Strathmore these being Mr Kevin James who won the handicap section and Mr Norman Dyce who was best scratch.

Please let me know by the 1st of August if you are unable to play and I will advise the next reserve.

Again my apologies to the rest of the golfers who would have played at Strathmore if it had not been cancelled.

There was only one 2 recorded by Brian Duncan. (No hiding talent)

On a personal note the the Competition Secretary will like to thank Mr Dennis McDonald and Mrs Cath McNab for their assistance at the 5th green on Saturday it was very much appreciated. It is also commendable they did not collapse in a heap of laughter when the incident occurred.
